The Minister of the Environment, Waters, and Forests, Mircea Fechet, conducted a visit to the Botoșani County, during which he had meetings with local officials and representatives of the public administration. The visit commenced in the town of Flămânzi, where the minister met with the mayor, Dan Oloeriu. Subsequently, Mircea Fechet arrived in the city of Botoșani, where he was welcomed by the prefect, Sorin Cornilă, and the president of the Botoșani National Liberal Party, Costel Șoptică.
The minister had a discussion with prefect Cornilă and the president of the Botoșani County Council, Doina Federovici, followed by a meeting with the mayors from the county and the managers of the institutions under the Ministry of the Environment, Waters, and Forests. This took place in the Nicolae Iorga hall of the Administrative Palace.
The visit to the Botoșani County concluded in Ștefănești, where the minister had a meeting with the mayor, Florin Buțura.
