When Catalin Cirjan was given a chance to play for FC Rapid Bucuresti at the end of September, there were some indications of improvement during his loan spell.
Cirjan had his first appearance in five games in the previous match, before earning a place in the starting lineup for the cup clash with Botosani.
Furthermore, Rapid emerged victorious with a 3-1 score, suggesting that Cirjan’s start had a positive impact. However, this appearance did not lead to more opportunities in the following weeks.
Cirjan has only played 34 minutes in the next three games, making two substitute appearances, bringing his total playing time to 119 minutes in the last nine matches.
The 20-year-old has started in only one game during this period, which goes all the way back to mid-August.
Cirjan completed a loan move to Rapid during the summer, with the two clubs agreeing on a buy option as part of the deal.
